The hostel is housed in the former monastery of Abbadia Isola and takes its name from the noble woman who founded it in 1001.
The building is a municipal property and it is located 3.5 km before Monteriggioni coming from San Gimignano along stage no.32 of The Via Francigena.
The hostel mainly (but not only) offers hospitality to pilgrims travelling on the Via Francigena as the monks of the monastery did in the past.Suitable for groups, the hostel has 50 beds divided into 10 rooms. The rooms have from 2 to 10 beds each; some have ensuite bathroom.
