The small rural area, also known as Porghiano in the medieval period still preserves, as the only evidence of this period, the church of S. Maria with a single nave built entirely in stone.
Two interesting paintings by Rutilio Manetti, a painter from Siena who worked between the end of the 16th and the first half of the 17th centuries, can be found inside.
