The Municipality of Monteriggioni is pleased to inform that in the castle of Monteriggioni, Abbadia Isola and Colonna various spaces for civil weddings, exhibitions, conferences etc. are available:
MONTERIGGIONI CASTLE
Dante Alighieri Hall
Suitable for celebration of civil marriages, exhibitions, meetings, small conferences. Seats: about 40.
Municipal gardens
At different places of Monteriggioni castle there are three small, beautiful gardens for weddings. Seats: from 25 to 80.
ABBADIA ISOLA
In the ancient monastery of Abbadia Isola there are two rooms from 35 to 80 seats, suitable for weddings, conferences, meetings.
COLONNA
The town hall of Monteriggioni is situated in the village of Colonna (about 500 mts far from the castle), where civil weddings are celebrated in the city council hall. Seats: about 15.
It’s possible to organize weddings in medieval style by contacting the association “Agresto” of Monteriggioni (www.agrestomonteriggioni.it).
