By car

It is possible to get to the castle of Monteriggioni from all the main Tuscan cities via the Florence-Siena dual-carriageway. At 10km from the Siena take the "Monteriggioni" exit and follow the directions for Monteriggioni.

By bus

Public transport services are provided by AUTOLINEE TOSCANE.

-The main line that travels near the castle of Monteriggioni is
nr. 130 A and R connecting Siena, Colle Val d'Elsa, Poggibonsi and S. Gimignano

-Since January 2017 there are direct connections with Florence:
bus nr. 131O Firenze ordinaria and return.

-The nearest railway station is: "Castellina in Chianti-Monteriggioni" (about 3km awayfrom Monteriggioni).

In case of "lost ticket", for both car parks, the fare will be three times the amount of the corresponding daily rate.
