An opportunity to make live again personages of the past, historical or fantastic, and to hand on of the memory to the new generations. Ava dei Lambardi in fact, really lived woman around IIth century, is the protagonist of one of the more loved legends of the popular culture of territory.

The recited texts are drawn from a collection of stories, legends, novels, tied exactly to Montemaggio. Ava, founder of Abbadia a Isola, accompanied from its “ancelle”, she appears like a protector one of the forests and the men, which remember still today it.

To the texts recited from Paola Lambardi, InChanto associates its melodies, whose sound they reach to renaissance music and the Irish and Breton folk. Massimo Andaloro and its pupil Elena Giardini, completes the show with a original choreography that interacts now with music, now with narrations.

The show will take place in Monteriggioni castle's Fontebranda gardens. In the event of rain it will take place in the church of Abbadia Isola (Monteriggioni-SI). Free entrance. Information: 0039 0577 304834.
